The OER4Covid initiative is a community-led collaboration. The goal is to assist educators and educational institutions to transition to online learning using OER.
Community volunteers
The OER4Covid initiative is designed to act locally and share globally. We invite community members to confirm their interests and to volunteer help with the coordination of different OER4Covid work streams at the:
- institutional,
- provincial/ state,
- national, or
- regional levels.
There can be more than one coordinator at each level, enabling rotation of coordination activities. Some volunteers may choose to work at multiple levels, e.g. an institutional and national coordinator.
Each co-ordinator will be given free access to a BigBlueButton web conferencing room to facilitate synchronous discussions in your own time zone. We will also provide free access to a range of open source collaboration tools to support your activities.
